Why are there gaps in my results

Gaps in the results appear as blank white gaps between the lines and areas on the visualizations.

This usually means we did not get any test results from the PNM agent on your computer at that time.

Often this means your computer was not reachable, most commonly this is because your computer is powered off or asleep at the time. If you see a number of these gaps please check this article for instructions on how to ensure your computer doesn’t go to sleep when it should be performing tests.

It could mean that your computer was not reachable due to internet issues.

Please bear in mind that this can also be because of short periods of planned downtime with this free service.

You can tell the two apart because you will see from the RRe: Reachability visualization whether we reached you (green), tried and failed (red) or did not try due to scheduled maintenance (white between red or green).
